This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Artist's Description
Peter Hulsey born in 1969 in the south Florida area and is primarily self taught. He entered the Armed Services directly following high school and was stationed in Spain for a period, where he discovered a fascination with art and was enthralled by the richness of the Spanish countryside, villages and coasts. He also traveled widely in Italy, Germany and France where he undertook the study of art.
When he retired from the Service, he returned to the United States and currently resides in Northern Italy. He determined that his talent lay in the use of his creative abilities and began experimenting with the use of color and texture to create depth in his work.
“I try to capture the harmony between shade and light. It’s always been a challenge for me to determine the color of things. I try to concentrate on other objects around things and analyze the reflected light. I experiment a lot.”
He uses sweeping brushstrokes to create a sense of involvement in his paint...
